SMS Messaging Terms & Consent

ARUON (Aruon-AI LLC) sends text messages to subcontractors to coordinate construction bids on behalf of the general contractors it works with — including requests for proposals (RFPs), bid invitations, deadline reminders, bid-status follow-ups, and related account and customer-care messages.

Who we text and why

We text subcontractors we have an existing or prospective business relationship with — specifically, subcontractors who have been invited to bid on a specific construction project through the general contractor’s vendor network. Messages are strictly limited to coordinating the bid the subcontractor was invited to participate in (for example, confirming an RFP was received, reminding about a bid deadline, or asking whether the subcontractor intends to submit pricing). We do not send marketing or promotional content.

We obtain mobile numbers directly from the subcontractor, from the general contractor’s vendor records, or from the subcontractor’s publicly listed business contact information.

How consent works

  • Business-relationship notice + opt-out. Because messages relate to a bid the subcontractor was invited to submit, the first text clearly identifies ARUON and the general contractor, references the specific project, states the message’s purpose, and includes clear opt-out instructions (“Reply STOP to opt out”). A subcontractor who does not wish to receive texts can opt out at any time, and no further messages are sent.
  • Verbal opt-in (also offered). During a phone call, an ARUON bid coordinator (a representative or ARUON’s automated voice agent) may also invite the subcontractor to confirm they are willing to receive bid texts, reading the following short disclosure and recording the affirmative response:

“This is ARUON, coordinating construction bids on behalf of the general contractor. So we can keep you posted, may we text you at this number about requests for proposals, bid invitations, and deadlines? Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP anytime to opt out, or HELP for help. We will not share your number for third-party marketing.”

Any subcontractor who replies STOP (or asks us to stop by any means) is immediately and permanently removed from texting for that number.
